Statement of Faith

The core fundamental of our beliefs are that the Bible, God's infallible written Word, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe that it was distinctively, verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it was written without error in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.

Salvation Through Grace

The salvation of man is wholly a work of God's free grace and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness or religious ceremony. God imputes His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation, and thereby justified them in His sight. (Ephesians 2:8, Rom 3:10).

GOD

GOD is The Supreme Being who exists independent of the universe, which does not change, is absolute, transcends space and time, who is self aware, who is all-knowing, ever present, and can accomplish whatever he desires to accomplish. His many names such as EL SHADDAI, EL OLAM and JEHOVAH SHALOM reveal the very character of His nature.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God, the living Word, who became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. Hence, He is perfect Deity and true humanity united in one person forever. (John 1)

Christ’s Redemptive Plan
We believe that Christ died for all of us while we were still sinners; He took the punishment for our sin. With His own blood, He purchased salvation and redemption for all who believe in Him and promised the Holy Spirit as our Counselor. (John 3:16; Isaiah 53:5; Titus 2:14)

Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity.  He is fully God, eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, has a will, and can speak.  His ministry is founded on to bearing witness of Jesus (John 15:26).

The Physical Resurrection

Jesus rose from the dead in the same body that he died in. It retained His scars. Though His body was resurrected and glorified, it was the same body. (John 2:19, Luke 24:39)

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Through the crucifixion and the resurrection the Lord fulfilled the law and gifted us with the Holy Spirit. We believe in the gift of speaking in Tongue as a sign of being filled with the Holy Spirit      (Acts 2:3-4)

Spiritual Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We believe that a spiritual gift is a supernatural ability given by the Holy Spirit to a person at the moment of his or her salvation. The purpose of the gifts is to glorify God and to edify His church. (1Corinthians 12)

Fruits of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to men. He convicts and draws sinners to Christ, imparts new life to them, continually indwells them from the moment of spiritual birth and reflects his fullness, power and character through the believer. (Galatians 5:16-22)

The Church

We believe that the biblical references of the church are not pertaining to physical structures but are visibly recognized through the body of believers of Jesus Christ. (Eph 1:22-23)

The Five Fold Ministry

We believe that it was the purpose of the Lord to place Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers into the modern day church for the edification of the body of Christ. (Eph 4:1-16)

Love of Christ

We believe in love as the fundamental principle in discipleship (John 15: 16-17)

Worship

We believe in gathering regularly as the local expression of the Body of Christ to participate in worship that exalts God above all things. It is impossible to worship the Father through self-centered motivations, as He is a Spirit and must be worshipped in Spirit and Truth. The FFMA does not support secular forms of worship that appeal to human emotions rather than the Spirit of GOD. (John 4:24)

The Command for Discipleship

The Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to disciple men of every nation. The fulfillment of that Great Commission requires that all worldly and personal ambitions be subordinated to a total commitment to "Him who loved us and gave Himself for us." (Matt 28:19)

The Second Coming of Christ
We believe that the second coming of Christ is imminent and that no one knows the exact time of His coming, but believers must continue to spread the gospel around the world until that time. At that time the Lord Himself will descend from heaven, the dead Christians will be resurrected, and believers will be taken up to meet the Lord in the air (Matt 24:36, 42, 44; 1 Thess4:16, 17). We believe that everyone will stand before the judgment seat of Christ. Born-again believers will be sent to a place of everlasting life, and nonbelievers will be sent to a place of everlasting punishment. (Revelation 20:11, 12; 2 Corinthians 5:10)
